a. Press the retainer clip downward.
b.
Rotate the PCIe adapter retention latch to the open position.
c.
Grasp the PCIe adapter by its edges and carefully pull it out of the PCIe slot.

a. Remove the screw that secures the PCIe adapter.

Grasp the PCIe adapter by its edges and carefully pull it out of the PCIe slot.
Step 3. (Optional) If you are replacing the riser card, disconnect cables from the riser card if needed and
remove the riser card from the riser cage.
