• Be extremely careful with fire such as cigarette.
• Be sure to stop the engine when refueling. If refueling is done with the engine in operation, the
fuel spilled on the section where it gets hot such as muffler can catch fire.
• Over-refilling may cause fuel spill. Refuel to the level slightly lower than the specified upper
limit level. If the fuel spills, be sure to thoroughly wipe it off.
• Be sure to close the tank cap after refuelling.
• See “Maintenance 7.1 Use of Lubricating Oil According to Temperature” for which fuel to be
used.
• Be careful not to let any foreign substance go into the filler opening when refueling.
1. Stop the machine at leveled location.
2. Turn the starter switch to the ON position and check that the fuel
level gauge (1) on the monitor panel for fuel level.
After checking, turn the starter switch back to the OFF position.
3. If fuel is found to be low, unscrew fuel filter cap (F) on the fuel
tank and add fuel through the filler port until float gauge (G)
comes up to the highest point.
• Specified fuel amount in fuel tank: 195 liters
• Position of tip of float gauge (G) when tank is full: Approx. 130
mm from top surface of fuel tank.
4. After adding fuel, push float gauge (G) straight down with fuel
filler cap (F). Be careful not to get float gauge (G) caught in the
tab of fuel filler cap (F), and tighten fuel filler cap (F) securely.
If breather hole (3) on the cap is clogged, the pressure in the
tank will drop and fuel will not flow. Clean the hole from time to
time.
