3-158
3. On each occasion that the hook block nearly reaches the
ground as a result of practice in 3.1. and 2. above, operate the
right work equipment control lever to HOOK RISING (pull
backward) position and raise the hook block within an extent that
over winding can be avoided.
In the condition where the hook block is over wound, the over
hoist detector triggers warning buzzer and the winch will
automatically stop.
4. Operate the left work equipment control lever (2) to LEFT
SWING (push outside) position or RIGHT SWING position so
that the boom comes to the center of the machine.
Through the operations 1. to 4., the boom stowage is complete.
Next, the hook block (4) will be stowed as follows:
5. Operate the right work equipment control lever to HOOK
RAISING (pull backward) position and continue raising the hook
block (4) until it lifts the weight (6) then the winding automatically
stops (i.e. over winding condition).
When the hook block is over wound, the warning buzzer sounds
and the winching operation will automatically stop.
6. Keep pushing the over-hoisting cancel switch and operate the
right work equipment control lever to HOOK RAISING (pull
backward) position to raise the hook block up slowly and
precisely to secure the hook block (4) below the tip of the boom.
• When turning this switch to the "Stowage" position, the red
lamp of the working status lamp will light up.
• When the winch is hoisted while this switch is pushed, the
winch speed is slower, however it is not a winch failure.
