[4] BLEEDING AIR FROM WINCH MOTOR
To loosen or tighten the bleeder plug of the winch motor, always practice it when the hook block
is lowered to touch the ground and the equipment control levers are positioned to NEUTRAL.
Otherwise, the plug or oil may come out due to the internal pressure.
CAUTION
Make sure that the air is fully bled from the winch motor. Where the bleeding is not sufficient,
the motor will not run smoothly when started.
Make sure that bleeder plug is securely tightened. Otherwise, the brake may not be released,
when it is not correctly tightened, and also the oil may leak.
[BLEEDING FROM THE MECHANICAL BRAKE]
1. Lower the hook block to the ground and return the right work
equipment control lever to the NEUTRAL position.
2. Loosen the bleeder plug (1) for the mechanical brake for 3 to 4
turns.
3. Slowly wind up, stop and un-wind the hook block without any
load.
4. When the hydraulic oil leaks from segment of the bleeder plug
(1) for the mechanical brake, stop the winch operation and
tighten the bleeder plug (1) securely.
Tightening torque: 12.3 Nm (1.25 kgfm)
[BLEEDING FROM THE COUNTER BALANCE VALVE]

equipment control lever to the NEUTRAL position.
2. Loosen the bleeder plug (2) for the counter balance valve for 3
to 4 turns.
3. Slowly wind up, stop and un-wind the hook block without any
load.
4. When the hydraulic oil leaks from segment of the bleeder plug
(2) for the counter balance, lower the hook block to the ground
and return the right work equipment control lever to the
NEUTRAL position.
5. Tighten the bleeder plug (2) securely.
Tightening torque: 12.3 Nm (1.25 kgfm)
