Only when oil inside travel motor case has been drained.
1. Start the engine, and then run the engine at low idle.
2. Remove hose (3) from “port C”, then when the oil has flowed out,
tighten it again.
3. Stop the engine, and then raise the undercarriage. For details,
see following procedure.
4. Start the engine again, and then run the engine at low idle.
5. Rotate the track under no load for 2 minutes.
• Rotate the track equally both forward and in reverse.
• Repeat this procedure on both the left and right sides.
[PROCEDURE TO RAISE THE UNDERCARRIAGE USING A CRANE]
• Always exercise this practice only on level and solid ground.
• Refer to "Specifications 1. Main Specifications" for dimension and mass of this machine.
• The operator who operates the crane to lift this machine up must be licensed or trained for
crane operation.
• Sling instruments such as wire ropes and shackles for lifting operation must be sufficiently
durable for the mass of this machine.
• During the lifting up practice, always set the lock lever to the lock position to prevent the
machine from a sudden move.
• Any procedure to lift up the crane other than below is strictly prohibited. Otherwise, the
machine may lose balance.
• Prepare a rectangular lumber (450mm X 450mm) to put under the track frame.
1. Configure the machine to the "traveling posture" as shown the
figure in the right.
2. Swing the upper structure 90 degrees.
3. Attach the sling wire rope (A) below the boom and lift the
machine up slowly.
For this operation, use a pad (B) such as a rectangular lumber
between the sling wire rope (A) and the boom to prevent the
boom from being damaged.
4. Insert the rectangular lumber (C) prepared properly, between
the ground and the track frame which is lifted.
5. Lower the machine slowly. Ensure that the machine is in a stable
condition, during this practice.
