PROBLEM 17
No swing operation, the engine does not load.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
No voltage through the control handle to the controller, no voltage out of the controller to the pump EDC,
wiring or switch is damaged, node damaged, damaged pump or motor, swing holding brake switch actuated.
CHECKS
On the swing Diagnostic screen is the brake disengaged when the handle is moved in the problem direction? Does the
Diagnostic screen indicate a problem with the pump, brake, swing lock in, or swing lock out (see NOTE below)?

Check for 28 volts from the swing brake
switch. (See Section 3 - Checking
Electrical Inputs/Outputs.)

Is the swing handle center switch closed? Does the handle voltage on
the Diagnostic screen go to 0 when the handle is moved to neutral?
When the handle is enabled, does the
handle percent change?
Repair or replace wiring,
node, or contact service.
Replace the switch.
Check the wiring connector at pump EDC.
Tighten or repair the connector.
Manually stroke the swing pump. (See Section 2 - Manual Override Test.) Does the bed rotate?
Is the system pressurized?
Is voltage present at the pump EDC? (See Section
3 - Checking Electrical Inputs/Outputs.)
Replace the pump EDC.
Repair or replace the motor.
Repair or replace the wiring. Repair or replace the pump.
When moving the applicable handle fully in both
directions, does the Diagnostic screen show 100%
handle command in the left or right direction?
