General Safety And Accident Prevention Regulations
● In addition to the instructions contained in this
Operators Manual, also observe the general
safety and accident prevention regulations.
● Always comply with local traffic regulations
when driving on public roads.
● Before starting work, familiarize yourself with all
the controls and instruments and their
functions. During work is too late.
● Securely fasten your seat belt, if equipped. Your
tractor is equipped with a ROPS cab or frame
for your protection. The seat belt can help
insure your safety if it is used and maintained.
Never wear a seat belt loosely or with slack in
the belt system. Never wear the belt in a twisted
condition or pinched between the seat
structural members.
● Start the engine only from the operator’s seat.
● Before moving away, always check the
immediate vicinity of the tractor (e.g. for
children). Ensure adequate visibility.
● Never run the engine in a closed building.
Proper ventilation is required.

fitting. Avoid wearing loose jackets, shirts or
ties.
● Handle fuel with care as it is highly flammable.
Never refuel the tractor in the vicinity of naked
flames or sparks. Do not smoke during
refuelling.
● Never refuel the machine when the engine is
hot or running.
● Always stop the engine and remove the main
switch key before refuelling. Fill fuel tank
outdoors. Clean up any spilled fuel immediately.
● Prevent fires by keeping the tractor clean.
● Exposure to high noise levels may cause
hearing loss. Always wear suitable ear
protection when working in a noisy
environment.
