While oil is draining, place a suitable container
under the transmission/hydraulic oil filter. Use a
suitable filter wrench and remove the oil filter and
filter O-ring. Turn the filter counterclockwise.
IMPORTANT: The filter must also be changed if
the service indicator lamp on the instrument
panel illuminates during operation. ONLY use
a McCormick approved filter.
STEP 4
Install and tighten the drain plugs after the oil has
drained.
IMPORTANT: Dispose of oil and filters in
accordance with local regulations. DO NOT
drain the oil on the ground, into a drain or into
a container that can leak. Be responsible for
the environment.
STEP 5
Apply clean transmission oil to the new O-ring
and position inside the lip of the new filter.
STEP 6
Install the new filter by hand. Turn the filter
clockwise until the gasket comes in contact with
the filter head then tighten the filter by hand
another 1/3 of a turn.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE A FILTER
WRENCH TO INSTALL THE OIL FILTER. If
the filter is too tight it can cause damage to
the gasket and filter.
IMPORTANT: Only use a Mccormick approved
hydraulic oil filter, these filters have been
specifically designed to provide superior
transmission/hydraulic system protection.
