Tuson Electronic Stability Control System (TSC-1000)
As an added safety feature, your MDCUSA travel trailer is fitted with a Tuson TSC-1000
electronic stability control system. This is an asymmetric braking system that uses onboard
measuring instruments to determine which wheel brakes to apply, and how often, to increase the
stability of your caravan while driving.
The TSC-1000 has been factory-fitted precisely with the controller module mounted in the front underneath section of your
caravan so that it can make reliable and precise measurements during a trip. It also features a factory pre-set algorithm to sense
offroad conditions and automatically disables the stability braking to avoid nuisance brake applications in offroad conditions,
minimizing unnecessary brake wear. The system will automatically re-engage once you are back on the road.
There is a status light indicator used to determine the functionality and modes of the unit. It is located on the drawbar for ease
of access.
When inactive the system will enter sleep mode to conserve power. To wake the system and check operation, connect the tow
plug to your vehicle and turn on your vehicle.
After a moment, the status light indicator will light up solid green to indicate normal operation.
