Draining the System
For instructions on how to drain the water system entirely, see Draining the Water System, under the Winterizing
section of this
manual
Even after following the recommended draining procedure, small amounts of water may remain in the system due to:
• Tank Sumps: Some fresh and grey water tanks have low points or sumps where water may collect, even after the drain valves
are opened.
• Air Locks in Lines: Air pockets in the plumbing can trap water in the pipes, preventing complete drainage.
To Minimize Water Retention:
• Rock or tilt the trailer slightly to help water flow toward the drain outlets.
• Open all faucets and low-point drains to allow trapped water to escape.
Any retained water can freeze in cold conditions, leading to potential
pipe damage or system failures
.
Always ensure thorough draining before storage in freezing temperatures.
Truma AquaGo Comfort Plus Hot Water System
Preparation and Initial Setup
Propane Supply
1) Ensure the propane tank is properly filled and connected to the RV.
2) Open the propane valve to allow LP gas flow to the system.
Always check for propane leaks before using the system.
Propane
is highly flammable and can cause explosions or fires if improperly
handled
.To check for leaks,
use soapy water on connections and
look for bubbles
. If detected, turn off the propane supply
immediately.
Water Supply
Ensure your RV's water tank has sufficient water or is connected to a pressurized external water source.
Running the AquaGo system without a water supply can damage the unit. Always ensure water lines are
primed and air-free before operation.
