Charging the Caravan
Grid Power
Your RV charges from shore power via the Renogy REGO 12V 3000W HF Inverter Charger, which is directly wired to the
110V AC circuits in your RV. To charge using the multi-stage AC charger function of the REGO HF Inverter Charger:
1. Ensure the RV is connected to shore power via the externally mounted 110V power inlet, located on the offside of the RV.
2. Ensure the inverter charger is powered on using the Wired Remote Control or the On/Off/Remote Power Switch, located
on the
REGO unit itself.
3. Verify all necessary circuit protection is active:
o The Main Breakers (both located near the RV entry) must be in the ON position.
Note: Your RV is equipped with LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery, and the REGO HF Inverter Charger is factory-
configured for optimal charging of this battery type
Solar (PV) Power
The roof-mounted solar panels will automatically charge your RV’s battery system via the Renogy DCC50S MPPT/DC-DC
Combination Charger.
Note: Solar power output from the PV system will vary based on factors such as sun position, time of day and year, shading, and
UV intensity.
Towing Vehicle Charging
Your towing vehicle should be equipped with an Anderson plug connection to provide in-transit charging for your RV’s battery
system. This charge is managed and regulated by the
Renogy DCC50S DC-DC Charger while towing.
