Automatic AC Power Transfer
The Renogy REGO 3000W HF Inverter-Charger is equipped with an automatic AC transfer switch that seamlessly switches
between
shore power (120V AC) and inverter power to ensure continuous operation.
When shore power (30A) is available and stable, the inverter-charger prioritizes shore power and routes it back to the
WFCO AC Distribution Panel to supply power to all AC circuits.
If shore power becomes unstable due to voltage fluctuations, frequency issues, or waveform distortions, the system
automatically switches to inverter power to maintain a steady AC output.
In the event of complete AC power loss or a user-defined AC input current limit being exceeded, the inverter-charger will
immediately switch to battery power, ensuring uninterrupted AC operation.
When stable shore power resumes, the inverter-charger will automatically switch back to AC mains power after a 5-
second delay to prevent rapid cycling.
Due to its fast transfer capability, the inverter can function as a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), minimizing power
interruptions to connected devices.
The
Renogy REGO 3000W Inverter-Charger does not have an onboard AC breaker
. Instead,
overload
protection is managed through the WFCO AC panel
.
The air conditioner is
permanently wired into the WFCO AC distribution panel
and should be powered
off using its
remote control or built-in shutdown function
.
Never disconnect power to the air conditioner
while it is running
, as this may cause damage to the unit. Refer to the
air conditioner manufacturer’s
manual
for proper shutdown procedures.
