18.2 Collecting EPG data
EPG data is broadcast by each station for its pro-
gram contents. Information will therefore vary
accordingly.
Switch on your TV, so that EPG data can be com-
piled and/or updated.
While data is being compiled the orange LED is lit
or “EPG“ lights in the display.
After switching on the TV set or if a recor-
ding timer has been programmed, the col-
lection of data is interrupted until a switch
back occurs to stand-by mode or the recor-
ding timer is terminated.
Please note
All free- to-air stations found are listed in the TV
set’s station table and shown in the program guide
unless you make a different selection in the station
table.
The data collection operation is interrupted if:
• the Teletext function is called;
• a recording is programmed in the menu "AV
recording";
• a "timer recording” is active or will start within
one hour;
• the Teletext function "Subtitles" is activated.
If you switch the TV set to the standby state during
the data-collection operation, the green LED lights
or "EPG" is displayed to indicate that data collec-
tion is still running.
