18.3 Using the EPG
Recording a Program
Selecting a program for recording:
If you have a video recorder with the dialogue
system (QLink,Easylink... see page 119), the EPG
permits you to start a recording by pressing a sin-
gle key.
• Press the “EPG“ key to open the EPG.
• Use the cursor control key to select the pro-
gramme you wish to record.
If a video recorder with dialogue system is
connected (see also Section 30):
- Switch on the video recorder.
- Insert a cassette.
- Press the red key on the remote
control.
If a normal video recorder is connec-
ted:
- Switch on the video recorder.
- Insert a cassette.
- Press the red key on the remote
control to program the TV timer
(see also “Direct recording OTR)“.
- On the AV program position of the video recor-
der, program a timer with the data and time of
the program which will be provided by the TV
timer.
