DETECT END
KEY START
ON/OFF If you press the [END] key in LOCAL mode, the cutter unit moves
over the platen so that register marks can be detected.
SENSOR LEVEL 1 to 7 Check the sensitivity of the register mark sensor. Normally, set this
to "4".
• If it cannot detect the register marks: Increase sensitivity.
• If it mis-detects the register marks: Decrease sensitivity.
MARK FILLUP ON/OFF When the “Fill around the register mark” function of the RIP software
is enabled, set this to “ON”.

Sets the scan direction for automatic register mark detection.
• When set to [DEFAULT], the detection operation is performed at half the
media width.
Feed Dir. 10 to 50 cm Sets the media feed direction for automatic register mark detection.
OFFSET X 0 to 100 cm Sets the automatic detection start position for the next register mark.
CUT MODE Standard/High
Speed/High
Quality
Sets the cutting quality.
• Standard: Normally, use this setting.
• High Speed: This cuts media in a short period of time. This is not
suitable for use with heavy media.
• High Quality: This puts priority on the cutting quality, and limits the
cutting speed to 20 cm/s. Select "High Quality" when cutting the
following data.
- Data containing 10 mm characters or smaller
- Data containing many sharp edges
- Fine cutting data Cut lines may be jagged depending on the data. In
this case, change the setting to “High Speed” to make cut lines smooth.
COPY - Cut the data stored in the receive buffer of the machine by the
specified number.
"Copying the last data"(P. 127)
COPIES 1 to 999 Enter the number of copies.
Interval 0 to 30 mm Select the cut data interval.
TOOL CHANGE - Select this when replacing tools.
"Installing Cutting Tools"(P. 82)
SETUP SUB MENU -
UP SPEED -
UP SPEED X AUTO/5 to 30
cm/s
Set the movement speed of the media and carriage while the tool is

direction.
