2.5 Setting the Pressure and Number of
Pinch Rollers to Use
Set the pressure and number used to hold media based on the tool and media being used. Incorrect pinch
roller pressure settings may result in media skew or leave pinch roller marks on the media.

In LOCAL mode screen, select [PR].

Item Setting Overview
Quantity 2 or more (depending
on size)
Sets the number of pinch rollers to use.
Print setting LOW/MID/HIGH Sets the pressure used for printing.
Cut setting: both
ends
LOW/MID/HIGH Sets the pressure for both the pinch rollers on the edges
(left and right) used for cutting.
Cut setting: center OFF/LOW/MID/HIGH Sets the pressure for the pinch rollers used for printing
other than those on the edges.
Pullback setting:
both ends
LOW/MID/HIGH Sets the pressure for both pinch rollers on the edges (left
and right) used for multilayer printing. The pinch rollers
other than those on the edges are raised so that they leave
no marks on the print surface.
(This feature is supported in
firmware version 2.5 and later.)
This can be used only when printing with white ink and
then with color and gloss.
