Pinch Rollers and Grid Rollers
The pinch rollers and grid rollers are used to grip and feed the media.
• When this product is not in use, raise the clamp lever to separate the pinch rollers from the grid
rollers. If the pinch rollers are left in the lowered position for an extended period of time, they
may become deformed, possibly preventing the media from being fed correctly.
Ink status lamp
You can check the status of the ink by looking at the lamp on the ink supply unit.
Color Status Summary
Blue Illuminated Ink is being supplied (no error)
Off No error
Yellow Illuminated
Flashing
One of the following errors have occurred:
• Ink near-end
• Ink expired (1 month passed)
Red Flashing Ink expired (2 months passed)
Illuminated One of the following errors have occurred:
• Ink end
• The ink IC chip is not inserted.
• Other ink errors
