Increase tension (clockwise)
Increase tension when using with heavy or thick media, such as tarpaulin. Perform adjustments manually.
• Do not use the torque adjustment handle. Overtightening with the torque adjustment handle
may damage the take-up unit.

Decrease tension (counterclockwise).
Decrease tension when using lightweight media. Use the “torque adjustment handle” provided.
Setting Leaf Media
The roll holder and the roll hanger are not used with leaf media.

Move the take-up units to left and right.
• Print quality may be affected if the front edge of the medium hits the take-up unit during printing.
