Chapter 3 Setup
Setting the X offset (remote), X offset
(local)
For X offset (remote), set the X axis origin position of
online printing.
For X offset (local), set the X axis origin position of the
built-in pattern such as test print.

(MENU)

key in LOCAL.
• ORIGIN SETUP MENU will be displayed.

Press to select “X offset
(remote)” or “X offset (local)”, and press
the key.

Press to set the X-axis origin
position, and press the key.

Press the key several times to
end the setting.
Setting the Y offset (remote), Y offset
(local)
For Y offset (remote), set the Y axis origin position of
online printing.
For Y offset (local), set the Y axis origin position of the
built-in pattern such as test print.

Setting the Z origin

Z-axis, and press the key.

end the setting.
Changing the origin using the JOG keys
You can also change the origin using the JOG keys.

Press keys in local.
• The origin setting mode starts
• A red light pointer mark [ ] is projected on the
table or the media.

Press to move the light
pointer mark
• Move the light pointer mark to the position to set a
new origin.

Press the key to set the print
origin.
• The origin is changed.
• The height of the table is also fixed at the same
time. Adjust the height of the table by pressing the
[TABLE-UP][TABLE-DOWN] keys in advance.
• The setting value for the origin set with the JOG
keys is cleared by cutting the power.
• The setting of the table height holds even if turning
off the power.
• When setting the origin by jog, the origin set by jog
is given priority in both local origin and remote
origin.
• To cancel the origin set by jog, proceed to the origin
setting menu and reset the origin position either to X
offset (remote), Y offset(remote), X offset(local), or
Y offset (local).
