Chapter 3 Setup
Setting of UV MODE
The mode of the LED UV may be set in 4 stages.
This setting is made when the media vulnerable to the
heat is used or when the test drawing is made in which
the lighting of the LED UV is not desired.

(3 times)
key in LOCAL.
• SETUP MENU will be displayed.

Press to select “UV MODE” , and
press the key.

Press to select a set value, and
press the key.
• Set value : ON/OFF/NO PRINT/ Calibration

Press the key several times to
end the setting.
Setting of WORK CHANGE
Set whether to return to local mode or to leave in remote
mode when finishing online printing.

ON The LED UV is lit.
OFF The LED UV is not lit.
NO PRINT
The drawing is not performed and only the LED
UV is lit. Use when drawing is performed without
the LED UV is lit etc., and when you wish to
make it cure afterward.
Calibration
Normally, white ink turns slightly yellow
immediately after printing, and then it gradually
turns white. Thus, if you calibrate the colors
immediately after printing, the calibration results
may not be correct.
The color calibration mode reduces the yellow
tone that occurs shortly after printing by
changing the UV illuminance in order to enable
color calibration immediately after printing.
However, the ink of the materials printed in the
color calibration mode is not so adhesive or
abrasive, and those prints are not suitable as
final products.
Restore the original settings after the calibration
process.
