Chapter 4 Maintenance
Setting Interval wiping
When a set time has elapsed, the machine automatically
wipes the nozzle surfaces of the head to remove any ink
droplets attached to the surfaces.
In case that deflection, nozzle missing, or symptom which
ink droplets fall down occurred, set the interval between
each operation shorter.

(MENU)
(4 times)
key in LOCAL.
• MAINTENANCE MENU will be displayed.

Press to select “Interval Wiping”
, and press the key.

Press to set intervals.
• Set Value : 1 to 255 scan, OFF
• When [OFF] is set, periodical wiping is not
executed.

Press the key.

Press the key several times to
end the setting.
Changing the Time When a Warning
about Wiper Cleaning Is Issued
Wiper levels can be set so that a warning about wiper
replacement is issued earlier than the standard according
to the operating environment.

key in LOCAL.
• MAINTENANCE MENU will be displayed.

Press to select “WIPE LEVEL”,
and press the key.

Press to set a wiper level, and
press the key.
• Set value : 1/10 to 10/10

Press the key.

Press the key several times to
end the setting.
• The color tone may change, depending on the
timing when periodic wiping is performed. Check
in advance that the color tone is not affected.
