Chapter 3 Setup
Setting of Remote control
This section describes how to set up remote control
using Mimaki Remote Access.
See the online manual for Mimaki Remote Access.
When Mimaki Remote Access is in use, "During remote
control. [ent]" will appear on the display, and key
operations using the control panel of the unit will be
disabled.
If you press the [ENTER] key when "When remote control.
[Ent]" is displayed on the display, the remote control state
is released and you can operate the keys with the control
panel.

key in LOCAL.
• MACHINE SETUP MENU will be displayed.

Press to select “Remote control
”, and press the key.

Press the key at the [Permit]
screen.

Press to select “ENABLE” or
“DESABLE”, and press the key.
• ENABLE: Enables remote control by
MimakiRemote Access.
• DESABLE:Disables remote control by
Mimaki Remote Access.
• If you selected [DESABLE], press the [END/
POWER] key several times to exit.

Press the key at the [PIN code]
screen.

Use the to set the “PIN code”
and press the key.
• The PIN code is a 4-digit number used to
authenticate Mimaki Remote Access.
• Initial value: 0000
•Set Value：Set any 4 digits between 0000 and
9999.

Press the key at the [KeyLife]
screen.

Use the to set the “KeyLife”, and
press the key.
• Key Life is used to set the amount of time that
Mimaki Remote Access will automatically
terminate remote control if there is no operation
during remote control.
• Set value: 5 to 120 (minutes)

Press the key several times to
end the setting.
Setting a LANGUAGE
You can change the displayed language.

key in LOCAL.
• MACHINE SETUP MENU will be displayed.

Press to select “LANGUAGE” , and
press the key.

Press to select language, and
press the key.
• Set Value ：日本語 / English

Press the key several times to
end the setting.
Setting a Ionizer(Option)
When the optional ionizer is connected, select ON to
remove static electricity.
For safety instructions and precautions, refer to the
“Instruction Manual for Ionizer” for UJF-7151plus.

• MACHINE SETUP MENU will be displayed.

Press to select “Ionizer”, and
press the key.
• The setting of "Ionizer" is selected.

Press to select set value, and
press the key.
• If you select "ON," the device moves the table in
order to remove static electricity from all the
printing surfaces according to the printing data
before the printing operation starts.

Press the key several times to
end the setting.
Connecting from Mimaki Remote Access
On the PIN code input screen, enter the 4-digit
number according to the PIN code value set in the
main unit to authenticate.
• If the set value is "0000", any 4-digit number (any
combination of numbers except "0000" is
acceptable)
• If the set value is not "0000", the 4-digit number
is the same as the set value.
• Please note that if the PIN code is "0000", any
number can be used for authentication.
