Close the cover, and press the
key.
• After its initial operation, the machine returns to
step 2.
If does not resolve the nozzle clogging
Only if the normal cleaning or a hard cleaning does not
resolve the inferior image quality, perform the
maintenance of the head nozzle surface according to the
following procedure.

Press the
(MENU)
(4 times)
key in LOCAL.
• MAINTENANCE MENU will be displayed.

Press the key.
• “STATION” will be displayed.

Press the key.
• The carriage will move.(In the case of UJF-7151
plus, the carriage will move to the left end, and in
the case of UJF-7151 plusII, the carriage will
move to the center.)
• The table will be moved to its lowest point.

Open the cover.
• In case of UJF-7151 plus, open the left front cover
and H maintenance cover.
• In case of UJF-7151 plusII, open the front cover.

Clean the nozzle surface.
(1) Lightly press a clean stick dipped in the
cleaning solution on the nozzle surface for
about 10 seconds to clean.
(2) Perform the work (1) to the entire nozzle
surface.

When cleaning is complete, close the
cover and Press the key.
• After its initial operation, the machine returns to
step 2.

Press the (
TEST PRINT/CLEANING)
in the local.
• When you leave during maintenance, please
make sure to complete the cleaning by pressing
the [ENTER] key.
Without completing the cleaning, the nozzle part is
left uncovered and then outside light makes the ink
cure, which causes nozzle clogging or the like.
• Before performing the maintenance, please make
sure to attend the training by our engineers.
Maintenance without training may cause failure of
the head.
• During maintenance, never rub the nozzles of the
head. If rub the nozzle part, the water-repellent
surface is degraded and the head might need to
be replaced.
Tools required for cleaning
• F-200 / LF-200 Washing Liquid (SPC-0568)
• Clean stick (SPC-0527)
• Gloves • Safety glasses • Hand mirror
• Use the Clean stick (SPC-0527) for maintenance
of the nozzle surface. Do not use any other tools.
• UJ Cleaning swab (SPC-0386) and cotton swabs
cannot be used.
• Be sure to wear the attached safety glasses and
gloves when cleaning the area around the ink
head.Otherwise, you may get ink in your eyes.
• The ink contains organic solvent.If you get the ink
on your skin or in your eyes, wash it away with
plenty of water immediately.
• Please do not rub the nozzle surface and press
down strongly sponge part with your fingers.
Nozzle surface is damaged, and it may cause the
discharging defects.
• Please do not re-use the clean stick which was
used once. Always use a new clean stick.
• When cleaning multiple heads, use a new clean
stick for each head.
• After cleaning the nozzle surface of the head,
perform the "Normal" head cleaning immediately.
