Setting Option Jig set (Option)
Set when installing or removing the optional Kebab MkII L
system.
Installation and removal of Kebab MkII L

Press the
(MENU) (>>)
key in LOCAL.
• MACHINE SETUP MENU will be displayed.

Press to select “SET OPTION
JIG”, and press the key.

Install or remove the Kebab MkII L system ,
and press the key.
• When the Kebab MKII L system is installed,
printing can be performed while rotating the
cylindrical material.

Press the key several times to
end the setting.
Setting of Work Change Position(MDL command)
If using MDL commands to control the printer, set the
table position for receiving and collecting work.
Information necessary for running “MDL commands” is
distributed on the following dedicated site as technical
information (SDK).

User registration (free of charge) is required to download
SDK.

Press to select ”Work Change
Position Set”, and press the key.

Press to select ”Accept
Position”, and press the key.

Press to select set value, and
press the key.
• Set value: FRONT / REAR
• FRONT: Set the table front/rear position when
receiving work at the front-most point.
• REAR: Set the table front/rear position when
receiving work at the rear-most point.

Press to select ”Accept Height”,
and press the key.

Press to select set value, and
press the key.
• Set value: Bottom / Top / On Print
• Bottom: Set the table height when receiving work
at the lowest point.
• Top: Set the table height when receiving work at
the highest point.
• On Print: Set the table height when receiving work
at the printing height.

Press to select ”Collect
Position”, and press the key.

Press to select set value, and
press the key.
• Set value: FRONT / REAR

• Settings in this menu are only valid when “MDL
commands” are used to control the printer.
• What is “MDL commands”?
“MDL commands” are commands for enabling control of
Mimaki’s printers using the user’s production system and
peripheral devices.
They make it possible to control the position and height of
work setting tables and control printer operations such as
starting printing.
It is also possible to acquire the printer remaining ink
quantity, error information, etc.
Concerning “MDL commands”, through utilizing technical
information (SDK) provided by Mimaki to develop software, it
becomes possible to build the optimum system for the
customer.
