3-4. ADJUSTMENT OF SCANNER MOTOR TIMING BELT TEN-
SION
1. Remove the Original Glass.
2. Loosen the two screws that secure the Scanner
Motor. Using a bar tension gage, pull the motor
to the right with a tension of 1000 g ±50 g and, at
the same time, tighten the mounting screws.
NOTE
• The adjustment must be made with the belt teeth
in mesh with the pulley grooves.
