4.4.3 Automatic return function
When a station disconnected from a network due to a data link error recovers from the error, the station is
automatically reconnected to the network and restarts data link.
● When a disconnection or a reconnection of stations is detected, the CC-Link IE Controller Network executes the line
control in all stations to reconstruct the loop.
● During the line control processing, the baton pass status (SW00A0 to SW00A7) and the cyclic transmission status
(SW00B0 to SW00B7) are turned ON for up to 100ms. (Normally for up to 50ms.)
However, if the constant link scan time is set, it may take 100ms or longer from the line status change to the
reconstruction of the loop.
4.4.4 Cable fault detection function
A cable fault can be detected as a cause of a communication error.
The CC IE Control diagnostics makes troubleshooting easy. ( Page 541, Section 10.4)
