Duplication of the control station or station No. can be detected as a cause of loopback or disconnection from the
network.
The CC IE Control diagnostics makes troubleshooting easy. ( Page 541, Section 10.4)
When power is applied or when a disconnected station returns to the network, this function checks whether the control
station of the network and station No. are duplicated or not.
The following describes how each station behaves when duplication of the control station or station No. is detected.
(1) When turning ON all stations simultaneously
(a) When duplication of the control station is detected
(b) When duplication of station No. is detected

Cyclic transmission Not performed on all stations.
Transient transmission Available for all stations.

Stations of duplicated station No. do not perform cyclic transmission.
Other stations, each of which has unique station No, perform cyclic transmission.
(When the control station has a duplicated station No, all stations do not perform cyclic
transmission.)
