9.12 J(P).ZNRD (Data Read from Programmable Controllers on Other Stations)
(2) Function
(a) ZNRD instruction overview
The ZNRD instruction reads out word device data (in and after (S1)) of the target station into word devices of
the own station (in and after (D1)).
The target station is specified in Target station network No. (Jn) and Target station No. (n1).
Upon completion of reading the target station devices, Completion device (D2) turns ON.

• In addition to CC-Link IE Controller Network, stations in the following networks can be also specified.
• CC-Link IE Field Network
• MELSECNET/H
• MELSECNET/10
• Ethernet
• Target station's CPU type
The ZNRD instruction is executable when the target station is QCPU, RCPU, LCPU, QnACPU, or
AnUCPU.
When the target station is an A2UCPU(S1), A3UCPU, A4UCPU, A2ASCPU(S1), or A2USCPU(S1), use
the CPU module with the following version or later.
(c) Checking the execution status of the ZNRD instruction
The execution status of the ZNRD instruction (Normal completion, Error completion) can be checked with the
following devices specified in the setting data.
• Completion device (D2)
Turns ON in the END processing for the scan after completion of the ZNRD instruction, and goes OFF in
the next END processing.
• Completion status indication device ((D2)+1)
Turns ON in the END processing for the scan after completion of the ZNRD instruction, and turns OFF in
the next END processing, only when the ZNRD instruction has failed.
• A2UCPU(S1), A3UCPU, A4UCPU: Version AY (manufactured since July, 1995) or later
• A2ASCPU(S1), A2USCPU(S1): Version CP (manufactured since July, 1995) or later
