(3) Function
(a) RIRD instruction overview
This instruction allows access to the CPU module device specified in (S)+2 and (S)+3 of the station specified in
(S)+1.
The read data are stored in the receive buffer of the CC-Link IE Controller Network module.
The read data are stored in and after the device specified in (D1), and the device specified in (D2) is set to on.
(b) Checking the execution status of the RIRD instruction
The execution status of the RIRD instruction (Normal completion, Error completion) can be checked with the
following devices specified in the setting data.
• Completion device (D2)
Turns ON in the END processing for the scan after completion of the RIRD instruction, and turns OFF in
the next END processing.
• Completion status indication device ((D2)+1)
Turns ON in the END processing for the scan after completion of the RIRD instruction, and turns OFF in
the next END processing, only when the RIRD instruction has failed.
(c) Operation in RIRD instruction execution
