Large cover plates
Cover plate, platform
On lifts with 1300 mm ceiling height the drive
shaf
t cover plate is fastened in the same way
and is also fastened with screws from the top
side.
1. Start from the bottom with the lowest cover
plates (they can usually be shorter than the
others) 50mm up from the pit.
2. Fit the next cover plates.
3. Continue with the remaining cover plates
t
hat measure 2000 mm. The two upper-
most cover plates (2) must reach about
10 mm above the edge of the drive shaft
cov
er plate.
4. Check that the safety gear can rotate
f
reely.
5. Run the lift to the bottom position.
6. Fit the cover plates (3) with two short
sc
rews (4). Note! Maximum length 8 mm.
Long
er screws might scratch the large
cover plates of the guide rail while the lift is
running.
