MATRIX SYSTEM OPERATION
Programming and Using
The MVP Control Panel Features
This section contains the keys to programming and operation of the features of the MVP Control Panel. To
reduce confusion, the programming and operating steps are presented here in graphic form by way of easy-
to-follow flow diagrams. A description of the MVP Control Panel functions may be found on pages 17-19 of
this manual.
Memory Backup
The MVP Control Module has internal electronic memory backup that will retain all System programming
should a power interruption occur. When power is again restored to the MVP Control Module, any and all
systems stored in memory, Component Auto-Rotate parameters, etc. will be available as previously
programmed.
Key Entry Timing
Key entry on the MVP Control Panel has no real upper speed limit. Your entries must be made firmly,
however. Always watch the display for confirmation. All MVP Control Panel functions will time out if not
completed within three seconds following the last key entry. If more than three seconds elapse, the function
and the MVP Control Module Display will clear. For some functions, such as entering the calibration mode
on the Speaker Equalizer Module, a minimum key-press time of three seconds has been established to
prevent inadvertent activation.
