Component Installation Accessories
PDQ Component Quick Connects are standard
equipment on all MTi-manufactured Autosound
displays. You can also order PDQs and Component
Drawers to install into owner-built displays – please
contact your MTi Sales Representative for
dimensions and space requirements. They allow
components to be installed quickly and
conveniently away from the display. PDQs mount
inconspicuously on the rear shelf of removable
component drawers. Component power and signal
wires terminate quickly in snap terminals on one
side, screw terminals connect Switching System
wires to the other. The PDQ is available exclusively
from MTi.
Audio/Video Connection Panels mount at the back or sides of a shelf in an audio/video display, and
contain all the input/output connectors needed to hook up audio/video components. They are available in a
variety of configurations to connect all types of audio/video products, including Speakers, receivers,
camcorders, etc. They make component installation and replacement quick and easy, and may also
eliminate messy wire tangles on the component shelves. (See page 76 for installation information.)
Snap Terminals make component connecting easier. Snap Terminals may be used for power and signal.
Terminal Strips are recommended for use when connecting Power Supplies to their respective destinations.
Available in three-position and up.
Antenna System Hardware for both home and car audio and video displays is available from MTi. We carry
a variety of antennas, cables, and connectors.
