3.31 Update the software
To update the software using your PC, you should follow the following steps:
1. Install the update application on your PC
2. Install the USB driver on your PC
3. Update the software using the PC
The installation is only necessary for the fist time.
The following applications are available for the update application:
·Windows 98
·Windows 2000
·Windows XP
·Windows Vista
The screen image may differ according to the Windows version of the PC.
3.31.1 Install the update application on PC
To update the software, first install the USB RomWrite application on your PC.
1. Insert the supplied CD into your CD-ROM drive.
Note: For Windows Vista Users:
1. If the "AutoPlay" dialog box appears, click [Run Setup.exe].
2. When the "user Account Control" dialog box appears, enter an administrator password or provide
confirmation.
2. Click [Next].
3. Click [Install].
