4.12.6 Uneven print density
Symptom: Image graduates from dark to light across page.
Poor development
• The drum cartridge or toner cartridge may be not installed correctly. Install
each cartridge correctly.
• Replace the Toner cartridge.
• Replace the High Voltage Unit.
• Clean the LED print head.
Defective Drum
• If the drum surface for moisture condensation found, leave drum in unit with
power on to dry.
• Replace the Drum Cartridge.
Poor image transfer
• Replace the Image Transfer Unit.
• Replace the High Voltage Unit.
• Replace the Main Control PCB.

Symptom: Portions of image are broken or missing.
