Prefeed <Data> Make settings for the pre-feed operation.
• Data: Performs front feeding and back feeding by the
amount of print data.
Loosening the roll media may decrease uneven media
feeding.
• Manual: Performs front feeding and back feeding by
the amount set in “Pre-feed Amount Menu”.

AutoCL Waiting Time If you make the settings for situation and time, cleaning
is performed automatically.
• Waiting Time: Make the setting for auto-cleaning in
standby mode.

Spitting <On>
Sets up the spitting operation while printing.。
• When Spitting is set to Off, Nozzles will
become easily clogged because spitting
is not performed.In such a case, print
quality cannot be guaranteed.
• During the spitting operation, a small
amount of ink is discharged from Print
head.
• ON: Perform the spitting operation on Spitting box
located on the origin side for every shuttle of the print
head.

• On Media: Perform the spitting operation on the page
margins.
The printing speed will improve since the number of
time returning to Spitting box is reduced.
