4.6 Operating from the operation panel
Various functions which can be operated from operation panel are described.
• For names and functions of each key, refer to "2.2.5 Operation panel".
4.6.1 Media feed
When roll media is set, it can be fed to any position.
According to the following procedure, feed media.
• When sheet media is set, even if the [Forward feed ] key or [Backward feed] key on the operation
panel is pressed, media feed cannot be performed.
1. Check that the operation panel is Normal.
2. Check that the media loading lever is returned to the front side.
3.
Press the [Forward feed] key or [Backward feed] key on the operation panel.
• Media is fed forward or backward.
4. Release the [Backward feed ] key or [Forward feed ] key on the operation panel after feeding
media to the desired position.
