5.3 Transfer and transportation
This section describes transfer and transportation of the printer.
5.3.1 Transferring the printer
This sub-section describes transferring the printer.
• Transfer the printer maintaining the horizontal position.
• Do not make the main body of the printer slanting or place in vertical positions or do not
keep the printer upside down. There is a possibility that ink inside the printer may leak.
Moreover, normal operation after shifting (to these positions) cannot be guaranteed.
（1）Pre-transfer steps
When using a dedicated stand, transfer the printer following the steps below.
1. Make sure that the printer power is turned OFF.

2. Check that the butterfly bolts (2) attaching the stand and the printer are not loosen.
3. Check that the printer head is in the rightmost position.
4.
Attach the protective material (metal plate) for attaching the head unit, and attach it with thumbscrews.
