5.3.2 Transporting the printer
When transporting the printer, it is necessary to pack in the same condition as at the time of purchase
using protective materials and packing materials to protect the printer from vibration and shocks.
• When transporting the printer, consult a MUTOH product dealer at your point of purchase.
（1）Pre- transport procedure
1. Turn ON the power of the printer.
3.2.1 Turning the power ON
2. Confirm that the printer functions normally.
3. Remove all ink cartridges.
4. Turn OFF the power to the printer.
3.2.2 Turning the power OFF
• Operation panel displays "Transport Mode", and the printer starts ink rejecting operation.
• Ink rejecting takes about 2 minutes.
5. When ink discharge completes, check that the Power lamp disappears.
6. Remove the scroller.
7. Remove all the cables such as power cables.
8. Check that the printer head is in the rightmost position.
