5.3 Menu setup on the operation panel
5.3.1 Panel setup menu overview
This section explains the panel setup menu of the printer.
5.3.2 Menu setup procedure
Follow the procedure below to configure each setup menu.
Step 1: Confirm that the operation panel is in Normal mode.
Step 2: Press Menu.
The operation panel displays “Menu 1: Setup>”.
Step 3: Press + or – to select a setup item and press Enter.
The settings will be confirmed.
When setup items have a submenu, the display shifts to the next menu.
Setup item Description
Menu 1 : Setup Various settings of the printer are configured.
Menu 2 : Test print Performs nozzle check of the print head and setup list
Menu 3 : Adjust print Prints an adjust test pattern
Menu 4 : Cleaning Perform head cleaning
Menu 5 : Option Set up the contents of the setup menu
Menu 7 : Version Displays the version of the firmware
Menu 8 : Sleep mode Sleep mode settings are configured.
Be sure to read and understand the safety warnings before handling the printer.
Note
The operation panel displays “>” when a setup item has a submenu.
