5.2 Test Print Menu
Performs nozzle check of Print head and setup list.
Refer to the following for the operation procedure of test print.
3.6 Test print
Setup Item Description
Nozzle Check Perform the nozzle check printing.
It is used to check whether there are any clogged heads, or missing/blurred prints.
3.6.1 Nozzle check
Nozzle check B Performs nozzle check printing for white ink.
3.6.2 Nozzle check B
Mode Print Mode print can be performed.
Used to confirm the following printing conditions.
• Print quality
•Effect
• Pre-heater temperature
• Platen heater temperature
• Dryer temperature
• Media feed compensation micro adjustment value
3.6.3 Mode print
Setup List Setup list printing is performed.
Used to check the setup item and the user type.
3.6.4 Setup print
Palette Palette printing is performed as a color demonstration.
3.6.5 Palette print
Color Verify Print the color patches, then measure the color using the optional spectrophotometer
(SPECTROVUE VM-10). Compare the currently printed color with the previously printed
color to check the color difference.
3.6.6 Color Verify
— • [Enter] key: “Printing” is displayed on Operation panel and test printing starts.
• [Cancel] key: shifts to the previous menu.
