Connecting rod reassembly
Be careful to correctly position washers when reas-
sembling.
Apply the prescribed thread-locking fluid on the screw
(1) that fixes the connecting rod to the steering head.
Tighten the screw (1) to the prescribed torque pres-
sure.
Threadlocking product used: Loctite 270
Torque pressure: 8 ÷ 10 N·m

Apply the prescribed thread-locking fluid on the screw
(2) that fix the linkage to the steering damper.
Tighten the screw to the prescribed torque pressure.
Threadlocking product used: Loctite 270
Torque pressure: 8 ÷ 10 N·m

Steering head assembly
Position the steering head in its housing according to
the inverse order of disassembly operations.
