Interface Configuration Guide 7705 SAR Interfaces
Edition: 01 3HE 11011 AAAC TQZZA 373
Notes:
1. The maximum MTU value is supported only on cards that have buffer chaining enabled. Hence, it
is not supported on the 8-port Ethernet Adapter card, version 1.
2. On the Packet Microwave Adapter card, MWA ports support 4 bytes less than Ethernet ports.
Thus, MWA ports support a maximum MTU of 9720 bytes (null) or 9724 bytes (dot1q). MWA ports
do not support qinq.
3. QinQ is supported only on access ports.
