Routing the OSP fibers in split flex tubing to the FPP
Step Action
22 Measure the length of the tubing to establish the point at which the tubing is
to be butted.
Note:
The tubing should extend 1/2-inch (1.27 cm) further than the cable tie
strap located inside the interior left rear of the FPP.
23 Butt the tubing.
Note:
Ensure that you do not cut the patch cords inside the tubing.
24 Route the patch cords and the tubing into the access hole in the FPP located
on the rear right side as shown in Figure 7-17.
Note:
Maintain at least the minimum bend radius (3.0 inches/76 mm) for the
fiber pigtails or patch cords installed.
