6. Make sure that the rear roller, the one on which the Mini-Wheel encoder is
mounted, is resting stably on the surface to inspect.
When scanning the side of a part, Olympus recommends adjusting the middle wheel
properly for the first and last scans. For more information, see Adjusting the Middle
Wheel for Convex Surface Axial Scans” on page 55.
7. Apply sufficient downward pressure on the RollerFORM to make sure the signal
is optimal.
8. Press the Start Acquisition button located on top of the RollerFORM’s handle (see
Figure 5-5 on page 68).
