To remove the probe-axle from the acoustic wheel
1. Remove the bushing from the end of the probe-axle on the side of the acoustic
wheel that is opposite to the probe cable (see Figure 6-6 on page 78).

Be careful not to damage the bearing seal underneath the C-clip with the pliers tips.
