CP1E CPU Unit Hardware User’s Manual(W479)
Check that the driver has been installed correctly after the installation.

From the desktop click Start and right-click My Computer. A pop-up menu will be displayed.

Select Properties.
The System Properties Dialog Box will be displayed.

Click the Hardware Tab and click the Device Manager Button.
The Device Manager Dialog Box will be displayed.

Double-click the USB (Universal Serial Bus) Controller Device.

Close the Device Manager Dialog Box and System Properties Dialog Box.
If OMRON SYSMAC PLC Device does not appear, reinstall the USB driver.
If the USB driver installation fails for some reason or is cancelled in progress, the USB driver must be
reinstalled.
First, check whether installation failed.

Display the Device Manager on the computer.
If
USB Device
is displayed for Other Devices, it means that the USB driver installation has
failed.

Right-click on
USB Device
and select
Delete
to delete the driver. Reinsert the USB cable to dis-
play the USB driver installation dialog box. Install the driver following the instructions again.

Check that OMRON SYSMAC PLC Device is displayed. If it appears, then the USB driver has
been installed correctly.
