Password Protection (6901 keypad)
When activated, the password prevents unauthorised parameter
modification by making all parameters “read-only”. If you attempt to
modify a password protected parameter, you will be prompted for the
password.
The password protection is activated/deactivated using the PASSWORD
parameter.
To Activate Password Protection
By default the password feature is deactivated, i.e. 0000.
1. Enter a new password in the PASSWORD
parameter (anything other than the default value
of 0000), for example 0002.
2. Press the E key repeatedly until the Welcome
screen is displayed. Pressing the E key again
activates password protection.
Note Perform a SAVE CONFIG if you need the
password to be saved on power-down.
