GENERAL
Environmental control is available in a standard ram air configuration or with an optional blower.
1. Standard
A. Ram Air Cabin Ventilation (See 21-20-00.)
(1) S/N’s 2842001 thru 2842108 (1995 - 2000)
Air inlets in the leading edge of each wing provide fresh air to individually controlled outlets in
the lower cabin side panels at each seat location.
(2) S/N’s 2842109 and up (2001 and up)
Fresh air from an inlet on the left rear fuselage is ducted into overhead cabin vents. In addition,
air inlets in the leading edge of each wing provide fresh air to individually controlled outlets in
the lower cabin side panels at each seat location.
B. Ram Air Heat and Defrost (See 21-40-00.)
Fresh air from a heater inlet duct on the left forward engine baffle passes through a shroud around
the muffler and is ducted to the windshield and through the cabin.

Fresh air from an inlet on the left rear fuselage is ducted into overhead cabin vents by a two-speed
blower mounted aft of the rear closeout panel.
