2. Vacuum
Switch
A vacuum switch is mounted on the vacuum regulator. It activates the VACUUM INOP annunciator light
when the suction from the vacuum pump drops below 3.5 psig.
A. Removal
(1) Disconnect the two electrical leads.
(2) Unscrew switch unit from vacuum regulator.
(3) Cover hole in vacuum regulator to prevent foreign matter from entering system.
B. Installation
(1) Uncover hole in vacuum regulator.
(2) Screw switch unit into vacuum regulator.
(2) Reconnect the two electrical leads.
(3) Perform vacuum system operational check.
