GENERAL
The Warrior III is not approved for operation in icing conditions.
Accordingly, limited ice and rain protection is provided in the form of an optional heated pitot-static mast
(see 30-30-00), carburetor heat, and an optional carburetor ice detection system (see 71-60-00).
Carburetor heat is activated by a lever on the instrument panel which controls the flow of heated air from
the heater muff to the carburetor airbox.
